NSS unit is actively functioning in the college in view of integrating learning with social service. They conduct activities such as blood donation camps, nature camps, social service camps, campus cleaning and greening etc. NSS also provides financial aid to the poor by sharing their medical expenses.

The overall objective of the National Service Scheme is educational. Service to the community is the activity through which this objective is sought to be obtained.

Specific objectives:-

• To work with and among people.
• To engage in creative and constructive social action.
• To enhance his knowledge of himself and the community through confrontation with reality.
• To put his scholarship to practical use in mitigating at least some of the social problems.
• To gain skills in the exercise of democratic leadership.
• To gain skills in programme development to enable him to get self employed.

Our NSS units offer excellent opportunities for our budding engineers to take part in a multitude of activities and to prove their commitment to the development of our society. Also, there will be a special camp each year. The student should participate in the NSS programs and should be fully conversant with the objectives of NSS.
